Big Recap and Photo Overload

We admit that we have done a terrible job of sharing pictures and Vincenzo updates with our loving family and friends who have pestered us to share. For this we apologize.

Here's some of the updates to "what's been going on with our big-boy Vincenzo":
  • Walking, Running, Playing Soccer, Spinning in Circles, and 'Throwing' Balls - Vincenzo is a very physically active toddler. He loves going on walks in Belltown (although he doesn't manage much more than 1 block). Loves playing soccer with one of his many balls (his favorite was made by our beloved Cousin Thalia) both inside and out. He enjoys spinning in circle when his favorite music or bouncing to the beat.
  • Reading - Enzo loves books. He spends a great deal of his "free time" pulling books down from his bookshelves and either flipping through them by himself (making reading/talking sounds while turning pages) or pushing them towards Mummy, Daddy or Mirit to read to him. He has many new favorites but consistently loves Eric Carle, Dr. Seuss, and Sandra Boynton.
  • Talking & Signing - Vincenzo has expanded his vocabulary greatly. He is just as excited as we are to communicate how he is feeling, what he needs/wants, etc. He has been mimicking us to try and increase his communication every day.
    • Verbally: Dada, Mama, Nana (Banana), Mnana (Manzana - Apple), Chicken, NanNan (Night Night), Escuc (This is a sound which MEAN Escucha - Listen), and many more
    • Signing: Milk, Water/Drink, Duck, Bird, Sleepy, Elephant, Up (pick me up), Hot (uses it for spicy and temperature), Cold, Car, More, Hurt, Light, Toothbrush, Wash (hands), and a few more.
Here is our photo Overload. They are in chronological order - January to April. We will make a serious effort to keep you up to date on a more regular basis.

Thank you for your support and patience.

Enzo often insists that socks are not acceptable.
After naptime it takes Vincenzo a minute to face the world.
Cuddle time with Mummy always helps.

MARCH

Grandma Sally's visit brought a big smile across EVERYONE'S face.

Daddy fed me yogurt.
Enzo loves going to story time at Barnes & Noble,
but he wants to take all the books home.
Here is our future football star (soccer for those of you American readers).
Grandpa set up a toy corner for Enzo and one of his favorite toys is the 'famous' corn-popper.
It took him a few visits to work out how to use it :)

Vincenzo loved Mummy's Birthday Cake.
Bathtime - look how long Vincenzo's hair is getting!

He knows he shouldn't be playing with that.
Once Enzo knew where his head/cabeza was he loved to show it off, even when he wasn't asked.
We let Vincenzo play in his window-sill and he enjoyed every minute of it.
He is always trying to grab that crane mobile Cousin Thalia gave him.
Vincenzo loves to take apart Mummy's wallet.
This is Enzo's toy corner in our living room. It isn't always this messy.
Daddy is helping Enzo play "Harry Potter"

Vincenzo LOVES Mirit
One of his favorite books - Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?
Boom Boom Boom Mr. Brown makes thunder

I didn't do it... You can't prove it.
APRIL

Here is our very happy boy.
Mummy bought Daddy and Enzo matching shirts.
Don't they look adorable.

Enzo very much enjoys playing with his spray bottle.
Even if he sprays himself in the face.

Shape sorting keeps Vincenzo busy

Mummy combed out Vincenzo's hair during bathtime.
It's getting even LONGER.

Yummy
